Obama, Romney Campaigns Rush For Hurricane Sandy Advertising

(MONSTER STORM, EAST COAST U.S.) – The Obama and Romney campaigns are rushing to plaster advertising over Hurricane Sandy coverage and the storm itself.

Super PACs affiliated with both campaigns have begun to twist the looming storm to fit their narrative.

Republican Presidential-hopeful, Mitt Romney, is currently reminding voters that Hurricane Sandy did not hit the east coast four years ago.

“Are you better off today — just today — than you were four years ago?” he rhetorically asked a crowd of supporters in currently flooding Norfolk, Virginia via teleconference. “Again, we’re only comparing today to this day four years ago. Take nothing else into consideration.”

For his part, President Obama stepped off Air Force One at Burke Airport in Cleveland, where he’s been living the past few weeks, to make another embarrassing “Romnesia” quip.

“Boy, Romnesia just doesn’t let up, does it?” he, too, asked rhetorically. “It’s like Republicans forget Katrina happened under their watch!”
