“Jesus Is Not A Homophobe” Tee Shirt Offends Ohio High School

One would think “Jesus Is Not A Homophobe” would be a welcomed message by those of the Christian faith. After all, it makes history’s greatest water-walker seem as accepting and kind as scripture describes him. But no. Not this time.

Maverick Couch is a gay student who was threatened with suspension if he wore a shirt to school saying “Jesus is Not A Homophobe.”

Turns out folks at Waynesville High School would prefer the prevailing message be, “Jesus Is A Dick.” Surely you can recall the story of when Jesus fed 5,000 people and proclaimed, “Eat well, my children,” adding “Except the gays.”

Didn’t you read the bible passage that clearly states, “Jesus was a bigot”? I swear it’s in the King James Bible right under the scripture that says , “Go forth and force your hatred disguised as Christianity down others throats”. Oh wait, did that ‘down the throat’ reference sound gay? ;-)

It didn’t sound gay if it was a cross going down the throat.

But you were probably referencing penises. So yeah… gay.

BTW, that gay Jesus image sure looks familiar. *gasp* Is that Fabio? Has he changed from romance novel covers to gay t-shirts? Bold move.

    Hi all,

A homophobe is an individual who possesses the fear of homosexuals. I don’t think Jesus is a homophoe because he isn’t scared of anything but i do know for a fact that he isn’t pleased with homosexuals.
